si ves algo, di algo

Today while riding the subway I saw something, but I didn't say something. It felt better to keep a secret.

Who's Watching The Watchmen?

The countdown is almost over. Watchmen opens tomorrow night.
As a fan boy, I am worried. I have heard that they changed the ending.
I can't imagine what part of the ending anyone could change without missing the point of the story. It's really what makes the graphic novel.
So, yes, I'm worried. I'll reserve judgement till I actually see the film. But this youtube clip will
confirm that people all over the world and beyond the boundaries of time
are also worried:

Hey! It's 2009. Wah happened?

I almost forgot about this blog. Whoops. My bad! My only excuse is that I worked on a film till around x-mas and then I went on a long vacation. But I'm not saying that those are good excuses. They're not. I guess I'm bad at managing my time.

Before I post anything else, I need to put up my New Years resolutions with my comments

1. Go to the gym 3 times a week.
-Since I got back from my trip I've been going to the gym daily. It helps if i'm not working at all and trying not to spend money but also trying to get good use out of my unlimited metrocard. I've discovered a few new things at the gym: the sauna is very relaxing and the treadmill isn't as scary as I thought it was. Baby steps!

2. Check up on people.
-
This basically means Keep In Touch. I did send a lot of postcards when I was in Mexico. And my trip to El Salvador was a mini-reunion with a couple old friends. But I think I'll call a few people I have talked to in a long time.

3. Go out into nature more and spend less time on the computer.
-
Well, since I got back to town I've been on the computer all the time. It's horrible. Help.

4. Learn about the farm bill and other agricultural issues.
-
Yes. I've been reading up on agricultural issues. Grist.com has a good column called victual reality

5. Do what I say I'm going to do.
-This one's tricky. I don't know what to say. I think I'm doing okay.
